Overview - The Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay Challenge will be launched in Indianapolis at FDIC 4/19-21 and will be held at all 2012 FCC regional events thereafter. The Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay will be subject to all the rules, regulations and procedures of the SFCC Relay as detailed here. FCC staff will administer and judge the Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay.

Sponsorship – In support of the National Volunteer Fire Council and its members, Pro-Tech 8 has generously agreed to pay for the registration fees for six Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay teams at each event – first-come, first-served. In the event that more than six teams want to compete in the Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay, please note they are welcome and encouraged to do so, provided they pay their own registration fees.

Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay Sub Category – Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay teams will compete against each other in the Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay sub-category. Awards for this category will be given to the first and second place team winners.

SFCC Relay Advance – When race times in the Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay sub-category are sufficiently competitive, Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay winners will also advance into the final rounds of the general SFCC Relay categories and will be eligible to win awards in those categories as well.

Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay Eligibility – To compete in the Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay category for the remainder of the season in 2012, at least one Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay team member must be a member of the NVFC.

NVFC Eligibility to Compete in Any/All SFCC Competitions – While the Pro-Tech 8 sponsored portion of the Pro-Tech 8 NVFC Relay is limited to six teams per event, any and all NVFC members are welcome and encouraged to participate in any and all categories of the SFCC, subject to rules, regulations and registration fees.
