We are currently in the process of planning the 2010 World Challenge. This year we will offer competitors 4 wildcard days, beginning on Monday and ending on Thursday. The Finals will be held on Friday and Saturday. -

how does the wild card process work, such as how do you advance? Get seeded or paired up? are there qualifying times? -

For competitors who have not earned a bye (see website for all the bye details), the Wild Card Eliminations on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will identify who will advance into the Championship Round. The advancing teams and individuals will be announced at the Lion’s Den Reception, Thursday evening.
The FCC has yet to determine how many competitors will advance to the Finals. A qualifying time will be used to limit the number of competitors, but please review the "Results" from last year to better understand the times and number of athletes that will progress to the Finals.
Remember, when competitors run the course, the FCC pairs those with similar times against each other. This will continue through the seeding round to create the most competitive atmosphere.
